One day a man Nobody was sitting on a high rocky cliff and watching the sea, listening to the gentle beat of the sea waves. He sat and watched, he was free and happy. After all, he was human Nobody. He did not have to fight in wars, he did not have to herd sheep, he did not have to seek someone’s attention and love. It just was. Suddenly, he noticed that disturbingly, a sad lover, whose advances had been rejected, approached the edge of the cliff and jumped into the sea. After a while, a knight embarrassed by his defeat in battle appeared at the edge of the cliff. After a moment’s hesitation, he also jumped from the height. Within a few dozen minutes, a crying shepherd appeared, and the whole herd of sheep had left. He too, like the others, jumped off a cliff.
After several dozen years of living in solitude, poverty, pain, suffering, rejection, Nobody died. The guardian of paradise seized him and led him across the star carpet to heaven. They lay saddened in his vestibule, waiting for grace. Among them were a lover, a knight and a shepherd. They came to life when they saw the man Nobody who enters the gates of Paradise in glory. They were jealous, mocked him and asked how it was possible that this loser who let them jump off a cliff deserved heaven. Man Nobody noticed them and turned to them
– Why are you sad, my friends, and don’t you go to heaven?
– Because we can’t.
– Why?
– Because we’re ashamed, we didn’t deserve it. In addition, we committed suicide. How is it possible that you deserve heaven ?! Three companions were clearly irritated.
– Me? I didn’t deserve it, and neither do you. I just didn’t have to deserve it. I got them for free. I had nothing to offer the Father or the people. I was indeed nothing like my name. Nobody is me. I was nobody on earth and in heaven. I only had the Creator for my Father, and that was enough for happiness on earth. And it is enough… to be happy in paradise.
– So it was in vain that we won women, honors, fought in wars for riches, won as many sheep as possible for our herd? We have gained fame in vain and rejoiced in achievement, and in vain have we feared when we failed? And why would we kill each other when we thought we had lost everything? Is there really no hope for us anymore? They asked and began to cry bitterly, regretting their actions in life.

If you only dare to enter and forget what has been, then my gates are open to you. When my father finished his speech, he showed the gates with an inviting gesture and, taking the man Nobody in his fatherly embrace, entered heaven with him, telling the guard to leave the entrance open for the others.
Father, human Nobody, the Angels and all the inhabitants of heaven were waiting for the joyful moment for men to enter paradise. Minutes, hours, days, months and years passed. Richard, Rodrigo and Robert never crossed the gates of heaven. It was difficult for them to part with the memories of victories and defeats. They despaired of themselves and their fate.
