“Since the United States attach such great importance to the creation of an overwhelming coalition against Moscow, other countries need a certain courage to refuse to join it. Nevertheless, 35 countries refused to “blur” the United States and preferred to refrain instead, ”the analyst writes.
Also, for the United States, the resolution was refused to support the key countries of Southern and East Asia, in particular, China and India.
“Now, taking into account the growing ties between Moscow and Beijing, US leaders will unrealistically expect that China will support any really punitive measures against Russia,” Karpenter notes.
