The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Vladimir Region is preparing proposals addressed to the governor to support the agro-industrial complex. The business association believes that it is necessary to increase the minimum term of state contracts for the supply of food to one year and give priority to local producers
When forming the food balance of the region, it would be possible to “apply healthy separatism”, that is, not to import food products that are produced by local enterprises of the agro-industrial complex into the Vladimir region. This will avoid a reduction in tax revenues and lower wages in the industry. This idea was expressed by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Vladimir Region Ivan Aksyonov – his opinion is published on the website of the CCI.
Aksyonov believes that in difficult, unprecedented economic conditions, state contracts for the purchase of food should be concluded not for six months, as now, but for at least a year. This will allow farmers to plan their work more efficiently. In addition, it is necessary to improve the work on the examination of food products, primarily dairy products, so that surrogates do not get into the social sphere of the region.
Here is what Aksyonov thinks about helping the regional agro-industrial complex:
Support for the agro-industrial complex is necessary not only at a difficult moment, at a time, but also more comprehensively, in terms of the food security of the region. Now contracts for the purchase of food are concluded only for six months. This is not entirely correct. I'll explain why. Suppose there is a farmer, he is faced with the task of planning: how many potatoes to plant, at what price to sell, how and for how long, where, respectively, to store the harvested crop. Ensuring guaranteed sales follows from a long-term guaranteed order, for example, for 1 year: from sowing to sowing. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry will send a proposal to increase the term of state orders for the agro-industrial complex to the leadership of the region.
The information resource VladimirAgro, created on the basis of the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has been functioning for more than a year. This site brings together all the producers of agricultural products in the Vladimir region. Now the VladimirAgro resource is being filled with up-to-date information.Based on the information collected, one can understand: how many products are in demand, where is a shortage, what is the excess – the formation of a food balance takes place. And in this regard, healthy separatism can be applied, that is, to support your own, local manufacturer. In the region we bring a lot of what we produce here. And these are lost taxes, subsidence of salaries at agricultural enterprises.
There is one “but”: an examination of products should be carried out. Unfortunately, they often produce poor -quality products, not only outside the region, but we also have such cases. This is, first of all, milk. Remember the story of the Dairy Bereg Arkady Mamontov? It is necessary to control that exclusively quality products fall into the social sphere. Examination is necessary. This is a standard procedure.
