So I expect lemingrad to present a comparison of the position of Tusk then and Kaczyński now, proving that Kaczyński is better. Well, I will not present it because it is impossible. Times have changed and now public moods prefer telling the truth. And the others are not capable of it. If they openly called their initiative “The Committee of Fanatic Anti-Writers” they would have a chance to be applauded. You know, there is pluralism, different views, fanatical anti-PiSism is also a view, its supporters have the right to associate. Meanwhile, remaining in the imperative of hypocrisy, they called themselves the “Committee for the Defense of Democracy” introducing a dialectical contradiction in their actions, which are anti-democratic. I have already written many times how under the PRL, undemocratic communists called themselves democrats and democrats – anti-democrats. And how did the commies end?
Additionally, there is a post-Sudeten bias: they pretend that they are fighting for universal values, but in fact they mean particular values. The nation rightly views this as a manifestation of hypocrisy, but it is really the result of civilization differences.
Let’s say the previous regime turned the police on to protest against ACTA. They used to visit schools, summoned them to a hole in order to intimidate them. And these are democratic practices, because then the Committee for the Defense of Democracy was not established somehow. Well, now PiS will also launch officials against this entire Committee. And it will be a defense of democracy by deed.

Pay attention to the above point because this is the essence of the dispute: If the Civic Platform acted right, why can’t PiS do the same, but the other way around? If we stand on the ground of egalitarianism, then maybe. But racists, xenophobes that specialize in discrimination, will deny such writers the right. And here is the crux of the dispute.
