HOW DOES THE-DOG-WASH WORK?
There is no need to prepare yourself for a visit to a dog wash. You can take a towel and your pet’s favorite treats with you, but in fact, we can buy everything necessary in the vending machine there. The most important thing, according to WashDog owners, is to plan your time and not to rush anywhere, because your pet will sense our negative emotions and also get stressed.
– Plan a bath when you have time and don’t rush to work or a meeting. It is supposed to be “pure pleasure”. The dog senses our emotions and rush, and then nothing goes right. When the owner is relaxed and calm, the whole bath is quick and efficient – says Mrs. Dorota.
In each salon there is one specialized bathtub in which the temperature and water pressure are set automatically. You also do not have to worry about the operation of the machine, because it is very intuitive – just select the appropriate program, press a button and it’s ready! We can choose programs such as: shampoo, warm water, conditioner, anti-insect shampoo, gentle drying and powerful drying.
The cost of a bath in a dog car wash is PLN 2 per minute – you can pay in cash or by card at the machine. The price includes: water, shampoo (gentle or anti-insect), conditioner and drying. The bathing time is adjusted individually – there are no limits, so each owner decides how long he will bathe and dry his pet. Additionally, you can also pause and stop time counting at any time.
– It is funny when the dog is with us for the first time and the owner enters the bathtub with him for encouragement. I admit that our hairdressers also do so often to show the dog that nothing bad is happening in the bathtub – says Mrs. Dorota.

But what about cleanliness? Is bathing in a dog wash safe for a dog? What about germs and fleas he could catch from other dogs taking a bath? And there is a way! The vending machine has a special, free program for disinfecting the bathtub, with which you should finish the bath – of course, when your pet comes out of it! It is also worth activating it just before the bath, before the dog enters the bathtub, because you never know who has used the car wash before.
HAIRCUT? PLEASE VERY MUCH!
Each car wash is divided into two zones – the first is a self-service car wash where we bathe the dog ourselves, the second is a grooming salon, i.e. a dog hairdresser. You can arrange a haircut, trimming or care at the hairdresser. The basic procedure carried out by specialists is the “Clean dog” package, which includes: bathing, brushing, drying, trimming claws and cleaning the ears. Therefore, if we do not want to bathe our pet ourselves, we can use the help of a specialist who will take care of our pet in a professional manner.
