Financing Grants (IE) DVESMA will receive six business ideas
The first season of the Grants program (IE) DVESMA – a joint project of the SEB Bank, the self -government of the city of Jurmala, as well as the Oline and Marup regions ended. According to its results, six most promising projects were chosen, the authors of which will receive funding for their implementation.
The SEB bank in the amount of EUR 10,000 will receive the Genecie company from Maroupe to develop a new product – a women's wallet with a special department in which a fabric purchase bag will be built in.
The Yurmal Duma provided two grants – a grant in the amount of EUR 6500 will receive a yurmal resident of Marta Bril, and these funds will be invested in the arrangement and opening of the confectionery “Kūķis”. In turn, a grant in the amount of EUR 3500 will receive the Ilsa Bauman project for the manufacture of utensils from wood.
The grant of the Marup regional Duma in the amount of EUR 10,000 is allocated to Iev to the development and production of useful and natural sweets from fruits and berries under the brand “Dabas Gardumi”.
Two grants were also provided by the Oline regional Duma – EUR 8000 will receive the VURCS company, which wants to expand its activities – the manufacture of hydromassage systems and their installation on acrylic baths. The second grant in the amount of EUR 2000 is assigned to the author of the developing training game for children “Dārzeņu Dobe” Aye Ozole, who wants to expand the volume of production and offer the product in new markets.

Therefore, we are pleased that we found uniform partners-the city of Yurmala, the Marup and Olyinsky Territory, who want to see more new enterprises on their territory. We were pleased with the number of projects received and the quality of ideas, so next year we will definitely continue this program. We hope that with a large number of partners! ”
Deputy Chairman of the Yurmal City Duma Rita Zabya: “The development of entrepreneurial activity contributes to the economic growth of the city, so Jurmala is happy to participate in this target program – for self -government, this is one of the mechanisms of support for entrepreneurs. We are proud of the legal entities, whose ideas were appreciated by representatives of the SB Bank and colleagues from other self -government. The financing provided by the Grants program will be a good incentive for the implementation of specific ideas, and I think that their example will inspire other residents of Jurmala, and they will decide to realize their business ideas. ”

Let the ideas that you have been bored with, be successful to be implemented so that next year you have many followers that, inspired by your example, apply for a grant program. We are sure that thanks to new names in business and the results achieved by these people, the recognition of the region will increase – not only the place of work of large industrial enterprises, but also the platform for creating and growing small innovative firms will be seen in it. ”
As part of the Grants program (IE) DVESMA, 31 projects were received. The second and third stage of the assessment has reached 25 business ideas. They were appreciated by the jury, which included both business professionals and representatives of self -government.
The received applications were selected in three stages: they were evaluated both by their compliance with the criteria of the program and the potential of the business plan, ideas, as well as the presentation of participants and answers to the jury questions.
