“Getting ready for scandals”: that the Tyumen business is thinking about the introduction of mandatory QR codes

We asked the business owners to honestly talk about how they imagine life in QR conditions.

On the eve of the Tyumen region, they announced the introduction of new measures related to coronavirus. From December 3, only by QR codes it will be possible to get into cafes and restaurants, in baths, beauty salons, at recreation centers, hot springs and other significant places. Institutions will be able to visit only those who have swept from coronavirus, which have been ill for the last six months or having a negative test for coronavirus, valid for three days. To confirm at the entrance, you will have to present a special QR code.

Citizens perceive the new QR reality in different ways. A lot of criticism is heard addressed to the authorities, but, whatever one may say, restrictions give their result. In a week of forced holidays, the growth of incidence of coronavirus decreased four times.

The situation with QR codes is relevant for the whole country, and Tyumen entrepreneurs will be forced to comply with the requirements of the decisions. We asked the owners of the beauty salon and recreation center, as well as the famous restaurant holding to honestly talk about our feelings and how business imagines life in QR conditions.

“We already observe the distance, and a large number of people simply will not fit. Now also codes. It turns out that you need to present a passport to make a manicure? Of course, we will adapt, but everything changes very quickly, ”says Elena

.

The entrepreneur believes that the revenue of the salon will fall due to the fact that unvaccinated customers will not be able to come. “Not everyone put the vaccination. It is good that the changes are spelled out: the disease transferred is also the reason for issuing a QR code. Well, what if you transferred it in a slight form? Only with the PCR test, ”says Elena.

Representative of the restaurant group Vingrad He told Opso.ru that their establishments from the beginning of the pandemic quickly adapted to increased sanitary and epidemiological requirements. “Naturally, previously imposed restrictions negatively affected the income of our enterprises. Revenue in comparison with last year fell on average from 30%to 35%, and compared to 2019 – by all 50%, ”

the company said.

After the new restrictions came into force, the Vincrad analytics predict a decrease in revenue by at least 30% of the current value. Also, conflict situations with guests who do not have codes are prepared here.“Based on practice, conflicts after publication on social networks cause a storm of emotions among commentators, and this does not affect the reputation of institutions well,” the holding noted.

Nevertheless, here, with understanding, they relate to the introduction of QR codes, taking into account the situation associated with the spread of Covid-19. “At the same time, we believe that financial losses could be reduced by removing restrictions on the work of catering enterprises at night, from 23:00 to 06:00,” the company emphasized.

Director of the Termal Park Feshenel Alexey Balakin He admitted that his opinions – as an entrepreneur and man – are somewhat different.

“As a person, I fully welcome these measures – it's high time! Only there should be no exceptions: there is no QR code – sit at home. In other countries, it works great. As an entrepreneur, I am ready to introduce these measures. Employees are 100%vaccinated. We had previously paid considerable amounts to the pocket of manufacturers of masks, disinfectants and other sharply becoming the necessary and also sharply rise in production. There is a QR code scanner in any phone. Additional costs have not yet been expected, ”the businessman argues.

The main problem, according to Balakin, is in customers, many of which fundamentally do not want to receive a QR code and transfer all the negative to employees. According to the Tyumen entrepreneur, the state needs to strengthen educational work with the population.

“Of course, there will be an undertaken profit. Personally, I am ready for this – if only everyone was healthy! – summed up the director of the thermal park.

Recall that last week, Governor Alexander Moor, with an open letter, through our publication was addressed by entrepreneurs of the city with different businesses in shopping centers. They were outraged by injustice: in the same institutions outside the shopping center, the Tyumen can go freely, and it turns out, only upon presentation of a QR code. Entrepreneurs called on the head of the region not to destroy the business in the shopping center. It seems that Alexander Viktorovich listened to the opinion of businessmen renting area in shopping centers, announcing the expansion of the list of organizations and enterprises, which from December 3 can be visited only with a QR code.
