When browsing major social networking sites, it’s easy to come across some funny videos. Here’s how to download them to iPhone so you can watch them with friends and even offline
When browsing social media, we often come across funny videos. However, it’s not always easy to save these videos to your iPhone. Luckily, there are a few little tricks you can use when you need to download Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram videos to your Apple smartphone.
If you open the App Store, the Cupertino app store, you will find many programs that promise to download and save videos from major social networks to iPhone. But many of these apps aren’t safe. Some, for example, only have a lot of advertising and don’t do the required work. If you use Facebook a lot, we recommend installing the MyMedia app. This will not allow us to download the video directly, but will turn it into a link that can be inserted on a website specialized in video conversion.
Facebook Video
To download video from Facebook to iPhone, after installing MyMedia, we need to open the application of the famous social media, then, by clicking on the video options in the upper right corner, select the option Share and then the option Copy link. At this point, open MyMedia and copy the link from Facebook. After creating a download link, the application will ask us which page to connect to in order to complete the download. We click on one of those recommended by the application itself. After connecting to the site, just copy the link edited by MyMedia and click on Download. That’s all. To add it to your gallery, just enter the application, select your favorite video and click “Save to gallery”.
Instagram Videos
Downloading videos as well as photos from Instagram to iPhone is very simple. Just go to the App Store and install the Grab for IG application. It is a third party program that works directly on famous social media for photos. After installing Grab for IG, we need to access the service using our Instagram credentials. After completing this step, every time we enter Instagram, we will find the Copy Link option in the menu (three horizontal dots) for each photo. Now all we need to do is run Grab for IG and enter the saved video URL.
Snapchat Videos
Using the app from the App Store to download Snapchat videos is not recommended. Most of these programs, like Facebook, are full of highly intrusive ads and classifieds. To save a video to a ghost’s social media page, you just need to record what is displayed on the screen. In iOS 11, this is really easy to do. The new operating system includes a Screen Recording feature. You can find it in the Control Center under the Customization section. This feature allows you to save videos that are played on the iPhone screen while recording audio. If we have an iPhone with iOS 10 or lower, we have two options: either connect the phone to the Mac and use QuickTime to record the video played on the screen, or if we do not have a Mac, we can install the external AirShou application.
Twitter video
To download a video from Twitter, we have to follow the same procedure as for Facebook. First, install the MyMedia application. Then go to Twitter and select the link to your favorite video. Then copy it to MyMedia and use one of the sites recommended by the program to download the file. Then we can either leave the video in the application or go to MyMedia and select “Save to Gallery”.
