In June, it is expected to sign a contract for licensing assembly of 140 AW-189 helicopters at a joint Russian-Italian enterprise Helivert in the Moscow region. This was announced at the Helirussia exhibition by the Lenta.ru correspondent by the company representative.
At the moment, in Italy, by order of Rosneft, 10 helicopters are already being assembled, thus, the total number of rifle machines collected for Russian needs will not be 160, but 150 units. According to the representative of Helivert, Rosneft is not from plans to buy part of the shares of a joint venture, the share of the oil company will be less than 50 percent.
In July 2015, it was reported that Rosneft, the Italian concern Finmeccanica S.P.A. And the “Helicopters of Russia” signed an agreement on the reorganization of Helivert. After entering the capital of the joint venture, the Russian company was supposed to place an anchor order for the production facilities of the enterprise for the supply of 150 helicopters. By this time, Rosneft and AgustaWestland (part of Finmeccanica) signed an agreement for the supply of 10 AW189 helicopters until 2017, and the total number of cars made by order would be 160 units.
“Participation in Helivert SP will allow the company to reach a new level in ensuring uninterrupted helicopter services of our mining projects, many of which are in hard -to -reach, remote areas of the country,” the head of the oil company Igor Sichin said in July.
Helivert – an enterprise Helicopters of Russia and AgustaWestland (subsidiaries Rostec and Finmeccanica, respectively), located in the village of Tomilino of the Moscow Region. Rosneft will become a new partner of the joint Russian-Italian holding, it is assumed that as a result, the share of AgustaWestland will decrease from 50 percent to 40, and Rosneft and the Helicopters of Russia (included in Rostec) will receive 30 percent each.
The AGUSTAWESTland (AW189) multi -purpose helicopter belongs to an intermediate class with a maximum run of 8.3 tons. The helicopter was developed by the Anglo-Italian company AgustaWestland specifically for offshore flights and search and rescue operations. The standard AW189 salon is designed to transport 16 passengers, the maximum cruising speed of the machine is 287 kilometers per hour, the flight range is about 1.1 thousand kilometers. Serial production of a helicopter has been carried out since 2011. The catalog value of the helicopter is $ 8.5 million.
