What can be useful for learning-cleanliness?
Sometimes accidents happen that you cannot prevent. So if you want to protect your floor, carpet or rug a bit, you can put absorbent underlays on them to protect them and make cleaning easier. However, remember not to use them as a typical element of cleanliness training. Pads should not become a permanent place for a dog to take care of its physiological needs. Otherwise, after removing them, the dog may look for surfaces with a similar texture and take care of their needs on them. Treat the undercoat more as an aid in teaching your puppy to clean and as an additional protection when the pet surprises you. Also remember that they may slightly extend the duration of your dog’s training and habits.

What if your vacation is over, you have to go to work and your dog is home alone? If you have followed the above tips so far, half the battle is behind you. There is a chance that the dog has already established certain habits and will be waiting for your return. His bladder, however, is not made of rubber, and small accidents can happen while you are away. Therefore, before you go to work, try to assign your dog a zone in which he will be staying and which will be easiest for you to clean up when you find a surprise there. After returning, take your pet for a walk immediately, thanks to which you will consolidate another habit: your return means going for a walk. Do not punish your dog for dirtying your dog and clean it up calmly. Also, try to get home after work as soon as possible to take him for a walk.
Remember that when learning to cleanse, patience is the most important thing! This is the key to success! Give your pooch time to develop new habits, and remember that it won’t happen overnight. Only the regular perpetuation of good behavior, rewarding and praising the dog can bring the expected results. There is a bit of work ahead of you, but you will find out that it was worth it!
