In recent weeks, for obvious reasons, a lot has changed in our daily functioning.
Everyone talks about how to take care of hygiene, what are the disease statistics, what to do shopping in order not to leave the house.
Those who can reorganize to work remotely, many of us have children at home, and from Monday there will also be distance learning and combining childcare with home office.
These are important topics.
At the same time, I try to draw attention to the fact that the current situation is the global learning of change management and crisis response.
There are always 3 areas of Change Value Process that come with help in such situations: mentality, communication, strategy.
- You have to be able to stay calm, control your thoughts.
- You have to change the way you work and communicate everyday.
- You have to work out new ways of earning money, in order not to close the company.
Crisis and stress situations narrow our thinking. Man is stressed, he winds up, thoughts are chasing thoughts.
Often, in such a period, we are not able to make any sensible decisions, things stop and we go around in circles. You need to take your mentality to the next level.
For sure, one of the basic skills in the near future will be learning to work remotely and finding ourselves in a situation in which – probably – for at least a few weeks (hopefully as short as possible!), we will be forced to act like that. >
That’s why you need to take your communication to the next level.
Changes cause a lot of business doubts – will I earn? How much will I lose? How am I going to find myself professionally if the situation continues?
In these situations, you need to take your strategic thinking to the next level.
These types of challenges require a higher level of Emotional, Social and Business Intelligence. This is a testing time for many individuals and companies.
Therefore, in the near future, we will support leaders and companies in surviving this difficult period and building a competitive advantage.
