Remember that the employer, during the first “scan” of your CV, pays attention to specific elements: your professional history and plans (career summary), 2 recent positions, achievements and skills that make you different from other applicants.

1. At the top of the CV there is a career summary, in which Jan pays attention to his experience and key competences (this way he stands out from the candidates who do not add a summary).
2. The description of the experience is divided into categories, and the specific achievements immediately catch the eye (it is easier for employers to find key information, and the description of successes is distinguished by John).
3. Only the last two, most important positions are described in detail on page 1 of the CV. Less important experiences from the past have been transferred to the other side (Jan describes in detail only those positions that interest the employer the most).
4. Thanks to the division of the CV the most important skills of the candidate are also presented on the first page on two columns (the employer will not miss the most important information).
5. Although Jan’s CV includes a lot of content, she managed to avoid large blocks of text, there is a lot of free space and space in her CV (thanks to this, the employer is more comfortable looking for key information, CV does not strain the eyes).
