By default on new Iliad SIMs the “call me” service and voicemail are active for free, here’s how to deactivate them

The Iliad has just landed in Italy and has already made a lot of noise. The French mobile operator has aroused the interest of many users thanks to its very attractive flat rate, although it was not without a few complaints about browsing disruptions and geo-blocking.

While these minor mishaps have not been forgotten, tens of thousands of Italian users have already applied and activated the Iliad SIM card, mainly because they were attracted by the French operator’s cheap offer and were curious to try the new service. They found that Iliad offers a number of “default” services that other operators offer for a fee. One example is the voicemail service – which can also be accessed through one of the Iliad applications currently available in Italy – and the “Call me back” service that notifies you of any incoming calls when the phone is off or out of range.

By knowing the relevant numbers and codes, you can also access other, less advertised services. For example, to find out about Iliad loan balance and thresholds, all you need to do is give a call and also troubleshoot common issues that may arise. But let’s get down to it in order.

How to Know Your Remaining Credit and Iliad Thresholds

As compensation for the lack of a specific application, if you want to know how much money you have on the Iliad SIM and what is the status of your consumption thresholds, you can contact the Consumption Info service on 400. In a few seconds you will receive a free SMS message containing details of your traffic and remaining credit.

Iliad voicemail number

To listen to voicemail messages received from your Iliad number, you can use the ad hoc application available on the Google Play Store or call 401 and follow the instructions.

How to contact Iliad customer service

If you have any problems with your Iliad SIM card and need its immediate removal, you can contact Technical Support on 177. The call is free for users calling from your Iliad number, while calling another landline or mobile operator requires will pay.

How to disable “Call Me” and Iliad Voicemail

To disable these two free but slightly annoying add-ons, just enter the feature lock codes. On Iliad SIM cards, the code for deleting voicemail and “call back” is the same. For this, we take our smartphone, dial ## 002 # and send the call. At this point, we deactivate two additional functions. What if we want to reactivate them? It’s simple: pick up the phone, dial ## 62 * + 393518995012 # and call.

Burying in codes is not exactly a convenient method, although it is 100% functional. It should be noted, however, that this is a temporary technique and Iliad has already announced that a personal section for activating or deactivating additional services will soon appear in our online account.
