Here are the results of the survey that the Institute of Change Leaders as part of the CVP Research Center carried out
in the period 04/04/20-19/04/20 on 425 respondents.

It was not a study that aimed to study the entire population of Poles.

We mainly reached people (85%) with higher education, where 51.3% were men aged 30-42 , 46.3% were women in
As many as 21.9% are men over 50 and as many as 27.2 are women over that age.

Average earnings are higher than the average earnings of Poles, which according to the Central Statistical Office of Poland (GUS) in 2019 amounted to just over PLN 4,900 gross.
20% of respondents earn over PLN 11,000. PLN on hand. 19% 6-11K PLN on hand . 31% 3-6k PLN on hand. Only 30% receive less than PLN 3,000 per hand

54% live in an apartment / house over 60 m2, and 21.9% in an apartment of 41-60 m2. While, according to the Central Statistical Office, the average in Poland in 2019 is 28.2 m2. It is also definitely not a group representing Poland. 92% of responses come from Poles from Poland. 8% from Poles living in countries such as: Germany, UK, Ireland, Sweden, Spain.

Which is why this study is interesting, albeit unusual.

Answers the question of how a group of wealthier people cope with the present reality.
Better? Worse? What are the conclusions of this?

1/5 works for a company with more than 1,000 employees , and more than 40% for a company with more than 100 employees. At the same time, 9.6% of the respondents are currently unemployed. 30% are small and larger entrepreneurs. So the group is not homogeneous. 57,% now work remotely, 17.2% work in an office, 16% stopped working during the pandemic.

Many of the respondents are clients of the advisory services of the Institute for Change Leaders.
We also talked to 30 people who completed the survey, asking them: why is their stress level lower? What actions are they taking? Why are they better than others? How did they secure their finances? How are they coping with the pandemic?
These conclusions are presented in the study, which is available in PDF after download (box at the bottom of the page).
We publish 12 slides on the website. There are 35 slides in total.

If you are interested in the answers to the following questions in this group, we invite you to view the graphics and read the conclusions:

  • for how many months did the respondents have savings?
  • what are their stress and insecurity levels?
  • what is the relationship between savings, earnings levels and stress?
  • How does the size of the flat affect how to deal with the situation?
  • Did the employers do well during the crisis?
  • What are the positive factors that the companies took care of during the crisis according to employees?
  • what do respondents expect from the government?
  • Will I have to change my profession and company?

You can take part in the study all the time.

We are planning the next Report for June 2020 to compare the changing moods and financial situation of Poles.
