The TicWatch Pro X is official, a high-end dual display smartwatch that offers great battery life for a product of this type

TicWatch Pro X is official and presents itself to the world as a product with few compromises. It is a high-end smartwatch that promises a lot to those who trust it, initially only in China, where it was presented, but in the future there is a good chance that it will also reach our country.

TicWatch at the top of the range does not offer any new aesthetic solutions: the designers have rather thought of offering a top-shelf product that looks credible and consistent with other products in the TicWatch portfolio. Thanks to this, the casing is round, and the product resembles a classic watch, although it is very well combined from a technical and, above all, technological point of view. The TicWatch Pro X is in fact a very special smartwatch because of its dual screen: one is a classic AMOLED with intense colors and excellent resolution, while the other is a display that does particularly well in bright light and requires very little battery power. / p>

TicWatch Pro X: What it looks like

TicWatch Pro X is a high-end smartwatch and this can be clearly stated by the presence of the latest chip that has been officially released by Qualcomm, namely the powerful, eight-core Snapdragon Wear 4100 clocked at 1.7 GHz, designed specifically for use in wearables. Along with it is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage space that can be used for running music and other supported activities, for example, which can be solved with IP68 waterproofing.

The display is perhaps the feature that distinguishes the TicWatch Pro X from the competition the most. It is a dual display: 1.39-inch AMOLED with a very high pixel density of 326 ppi, which provides excellent resolution, and an additional FTSN LCD screen that provides important information such as time or set mode, with almost zero power consumption, while ensuring excellent visibility in direct sunlight. It is very useful for outdoor activities.

In addition, the second screen makes the energy saving mode even more effective, in which the main AMOLED display remains off, providing an astonishingly long battery life – up to 45 days (up to 4 days in “normal” mode). Interaction with TicWatch Pro X is ensured by the presence of two side buttons that can rotate.

The experience is instead guaranteed by Wear OS 2.0 with the recent Wear OS 3.0 of the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 will come later, though the wait for an update may not be short. TicWatch Pro X offers continuous monitoring of your heart rate, blood oxygen percentage (SpO2) and stress, and can track more than 20 sport modes including outdoor running, walking, mountain climbing, swimming, cycling and yoga. There is NFC for contactless payments, as well as the presence of virtual SIM support with 4G connectivity.

TicWatch Pro X: How Much is

TicWatch Pro X is now official in China, where it sells for the equivalent of around € 265 at launch, while its list price is around € 320 after the promotion ends.

We do not know when or if it will reach Italy at all, but it will certainly do so at a higher price due to higher taxes and logistical costs.
