Here is a summary and the backstage of my business from May 10 to mid-June 2019.

What am I doing this for?

To inspire you to what is possible, how business works, how people work and to show you how we operate. For me, it’s always inspiring to hear about the backstage of creating businesses or the backstage of making films 🙂. Therefore, I am sharing what is good and difficult in our business.

1. What happened May 10 – June 11, 2019

  • We have implemented the Leadership Mindset campaign – the first open training in years!
  • Another 3 SMIT Academy meetings for the insurance company
  • Third meeting of the strategic workshop for the leasing company
  • Second Agile Leadership Academy convention for a manufacturing company
  • Live FB break twice
  • I participated in I love eCommerce
  • Performance at the Scandinavian Days in Szczecin
  • Working with 8 entrepreneurs
  • I completed 27 1v1 sessions

  • The campaign of the school of counselors is over – 5 new people on the course and 4 people on the individual development cycle
  • Workshop in English for one of the largest manufacturing companies
  • Two or three new people will join ILZ: facebook, adwords, seo

  • I have written 4 very valuable articles. We’ll make it a business e-book
  • We introduced new people during the campaign: Kamil and Marta, who started to help us set up ads in social media. We will observe the effects.
  • Sales effect:
    1. 17 people in the workshop
    2. + 50 people in a closed workshop – 3 companies decided to organize workshops at home, not in an open group
    3. Two company contracts of PLN 80,000 won in 70% with a potential of PLN 150,000.

  • A hatter appeared. This is a former client who is unhappy with the 1v1 job and has made it his goal to talk about how angry I am. He has, of course, the right to express his opinion, but not the right to speak untruthfully. The client had such high expectations that the lack of the effect of our work led him to great frustration. I cannot reveal the details of this work, so it is difficult to answer his criticisms publicly on social media. I would have to disclose details of our work to answer him honestly.

That’s why I’m not doing it yet. It is the first such case in my 13-year career. We will decide what to do with it.
Importantly, it does not hit me emotionally, because I am 100% sure of the quality of my work. However, the fact is that I have not been able to help everyone over the years as much as they would have expected.

At the same time, from the level of customer relations, image and business, this is the moment to take care of it. There are three scenarios:

  3. Take the case to legal and judicial path. We’ll decide within a week.

6. Our successes and conclusions

      1. The entire period of May 10-June 11 was a lot of small and bigger successes. Good time.
      2. By June 11, we had made 150% of the full 2018 profit
      3. We don’t choke on success. We are joyfully but humbly planning our activities for 2019-2020.

7. Our failures, mistakes, challenges and conclusions

  • We aimed 10 people at the School of Advisers. The effect is 5+ people to support 1v1.
    1. We will wait until the end of the year, because the PLN 30,000 VIP product does not sell in a month.
    2. We need to systematically communicate the offer of the School of Advisers and consider the group version.
  • We targeted 50 individuals as part of Leadership Mindset. We have 17. Admittedly, there are 50 participants for 3 closed workshops for 3 companies, so 67 in total, but we also want to reach individual clients more broadly.

Application:

      1. We have not organized open workshops for individual clients for years, so if we want to do it, we need to systematically communicate such initiatives. We’ve got customers used to online, 1in1 and corporate offers.
      2. We have to verify our base in terms of the potential of such an open offer and target the advertising budget differently.

8. Case study of the client and his success

a) During this period, I had 27 1v1 sessions and I could have written a book based on what was going on in them. I want to share my inspiration from two clients.

b) 1 Client – from uncertainty to company strategy

      • With one of the owners of the company, we started working on the uncertainty related to the decisions made and concerns about whether the company is going in the right direction. These initial emotions were not due to confidence issues, but from a lack of a clear vision and strategy for the company. Therefore, step by step, we started to build the company’s strategy and organize what is already there. It’s amazing how organizing your thoughts on a piece of paper, brightening your vision of the future recharges you and gives you confidence.

c) 2 Client – chaos and overwhelming versus silence of the mind

        • The situation of this client shows how the accumulation of challenges related to a small child at home, wife’s fatigue and a large number of projects in the company can break. Despite the fact that they have a new apartment, a larger team, large contracts, and are financially set for 10+ years, the tension in the head and body of this client was reaching its zenith.
          The key in this situation was to organize thoughts and work on meditation and contemplation, as well as realizing that we have no influence on certain topics and we cannot fight them. If we do this, then we will lose and burn out.

d) 3 Client – from success through lack of self-care to gratitude

        • The process and these meetings were downright magical. The energy that was generated during these meetings was enormous. This client has personal assets of PLN 5 million and monthly corporate earnings of PLN 40,000. However, throughout his life, he cared for everything and everyone, but not for himself. He is now 54 years old. Eventually he matured to do something for himself, but he couldn’t. This is another person in the last six months who says to me: Adam, I punish myself for wanting to do something for myself! Such processes they are always deep. In the third session, he said: finally I can and can be grateful to myself and I have no remorse for taking care of myself! My fortune is nothing compared to that feeling!

9. What are we planning now
