Samsung Galaxy M32 is officially in India: a good mid-range product with a great battery that should also hit Italy at great prices

In India, the Samsung Galaxy M32 has just been presented – a mid-range smartphone, which we should carefully look at, as it should also be available for sale on our website soon. After a series of rumors and predictions of all kinds, the Samsung Galaxy M32 is finally official.

Judging by the numbers and specifications, this is a very good product for the market segment where it is positioned: as is traditional for Samsung, the Galaxy M32 has an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a 6000mAh battery and four rear cameras, with main at 64 megapixels. The design of the front surface is not very sophisticated, with a U-shaped indentation and bezels around the screen not very optimal (especially the bottom), while the opposite surface has some character in the vertical stripes. In short, the Samsung Galaxy M32 tries to please everyone aesthetically without being too bold and has a real chance of success on the technical side, where the numbers and specifications are in the right place, as is the price.

Samsung Galaxy M32, technical specification

The Samsung Galaxy M32 arrives with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with Full HD + resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels), a 90Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 800 nits, all protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5. The high refresh rate allows you to increase smoothness while playing games or watching multimedia content, assuming of course that the latter support frequencies above the “classic” 60 Hz.

The ranks are driven by the MediaTek 12nm Helio G80 chip, which is quite fresh (officially presented last year) octopus clocked at 2GHz with the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. At the time of release, two memory configurations are planned: basic configuration with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB mass memory and “top” configuration with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB mass memory. There is no microSD expansion, however.

The front 20-megapixel camera for selfies is integrated into the notch, while there are four sensors on the back: a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123-degree viewing angle, and two 2-megapixel surround sensors “for macros and depth of field detection.

Notable features are Dolby Atmos optimized sound and Samsung Knox 3.7, which is to ensure security and privacy when using Samsung’s One UI 3.1 interface based on Android 11. On the connectivity front we report Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0 , GPS, Glonass, Galileo, USB-C input for charging and data transfer, and above all, a 3.5 mm audio jack input. The fingerprint reader, on the other side, is on the side of the device.

The battery is huge: 6000mAh capacity to protect against any eventuality, but there is 25W fast charge nonetheless.

Samsung Galaxy M32 Availability and Pricing

The Samsung Galaxy M32 will be available in India from June 28 in Black and Light Blue for the equivalent of approximately EUR 170 for the 4 + 64 GB variant and approximately EUR 190 for the 6 + 128 GB variant. There is no information on sales in Europe yet, although this should not be questionable.
