Samsung Galaxy S21 FE could have surprised on Instagram.
A few hours before the Galaxy Unpacked event, at which Samsung will officially present the flagship products that it intends to use in the second half of 2021 – there will be no new Galaxy Note, but the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 will be supporting the waving flag – the Seoul company could made an oversight on his international Instagram account.
A careless social media manager may have used the wrong image for a post dedicated to the new school year, so this could have been the first official public appearance of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, one of the most anticipated products by fans and enthusiasts of the Korean company and technology in general. The Samsung Fan Edition series first made its debut with the Galaxy Note 7 after the unfortunate issue of dangerous batteries, but it was with last year’s Galaxy S20 that it rose to rank, driven by its excellent value for money. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is set to repeat the success of this year’s Galaxy S21 FE, which was originally intended to arrive around the same time as the Note 7, but was delayed due to the global chip crisis.

However, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is said to be on the way, which is confirmed by a photo posted by Samsung himself on his Instagram profile. The backpack reveals a Galaxy Book notebook, a pair of Galaxy Buds Pro wireless headphones and a purple smartphone.
It is not so much the color of the back surface, which is intriguing, but the fact that the smartphone has the same layout as the group of cameras in the Samsung Galaxy S21, but unlike the latter, the surface of the “island” containing the cameras is color matched to the rest of the surface while the Galaxy S21 is selling gold.
So it’s clear that the smartphone in the Instagram post looks identical to the Galaxy S21, but is not the Galaxy S21, so maybe and should be the Galaxy S21 FE. This claim is supported by the fact that Samsung removed the content from social media a few hours later, clearly confirming that something was wrong with the post.
Components sourced, launch imminent
Samsung’s image comes just hours before the Galaxy Unpacked event, but also around the same time that Seoul reportedly originally planned to unveil the Galaxy S21 FE. Difficulties in sourcing the components needed to produce such a technologically advanced item as a smartphone have forced Samsung to revise its plans for the debut of the upcoming Fan Edition, which will therefore appear later than originally planned.
Reportedly, the company has at least partially solved the problem of the shortage of components for the Galaxy S21 FE, however, and that the upcoming Galaxy will be equipped with a 6.4-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip or a Samsung Exynos 2100 and 4, but the issue of the release date remains: chain problems would suggest it will hit the market in October at the earliest (similar to the S20 Fe last year when the pandemic was in full swing), but the backpack photo suggests a “back to school” appearance with the S21 FE in pocket.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: How Much Will It Cost
Samsung has not yet officially announced the price of the Galaxy S21 FE, but we already know that FE stands for low cost: FE models are a version dedicated to Samsung smartphone fans, those who “would like to but can’t”. Therefore, its price will be lower than the base model of the S21 series, which means it will cost less than 879 euros on the list (but at the moment the street price of the Galaxy S21 series is much lower).
The latest rumors suggest that the Galaxy S21 FE is priced at around 600 euros, at the current exchange rate in Korean won.
